ANGST

lyrics

Everybody has someplace to be.
They're in such a hurry-
Sometimes I'm so ambitious most times I can't see where everybody is going
They're so automatic-
I try to see what they see, all I get is mental static.

But even through it all
I swear I heard a call
It's hard to pursue it when everybody's thinking so small.
I try to filter out the noise to get some clarity
But I'm held back by the weight of feeling contradictions simultaneously.

It's like wanting to enjoy your youth
thinking you're already past your prime
It's like wanting to confess your love
thinking love just fades with time
It's wanting to do and know everything
thinking nothing's worth your while
Wanting to laugh at the absurdity of it all
not being able to crack a smile.

CB is a product of love and came together in fall 2010 with the intention to benefit all sentient beings. As Matthew Henry once said: "Lightning strikes only but once". ... more
